I've always practiced yoga to music... somehow it just connects to my soul, speaks to me, and allows me to submit to my practice more wholeheartedly. My life is busy. I always have a million things whirling through my head, and my to-do lists are always growing. Yoga provides me with an escape. It allows me to switch off those thoughts, take a break, and recharge. Picture this: you, your mat, and some soothing tunes playing through your headphones. It's like a whole new world of focus, relaxation, and motivation opening up to you.

Modern thinking for a traditional practice


During the pandemic, a large portion of our lives became "online". I invested in a number of pieces of tech equipment during this time, to enable us to continue to experience yoga as a group as wholly as possible. One of these bits of kit was a wireless headphone system that allowed me to broadcast my classes to students clearly whilst we practiced in my garden, without disturbing my neighbours or having to compete with passing traffic noises.
